Today is Caturday and was a very productive day for Davao Puspin.
#1 we lobbied on clinics to expand partnership to the South and, yes, we were so happy with the results of this lobbying,
#2 in between our coverage we were able to visit and bring Vulca Miming/Luna for checkup. She is the cat reported by Leyan, being fed by the people at the vulcanizing shop but was reported to have non-healing wound at the back, which opens every time she gets pregnant.
Our plan is to help Luna in terms of having her spayed and educating her current humans on the importance of spay and neuter.
Upon going to the area, we discovered that Luna has 4 more offsprings (all female) who are now in the adult stage and needs to be fixed also. They are well fed and the program needed for this case is assistance in having their cats fixed so they can keep the present population of cats they currently help. Luna is currently on antibiotics and we are glad that one of her humans there, John, is so receptive while we are educating him on how to medicate VulcaLuna. We trained him how to give meds orally so he can give meds to the other cats there that needed to be spayed in the future.
#3 together with RAIDD and Davao Aspin counterparts, Davao Puspin is so so happy for having the opportunity to bring Ammos to his forever home.
A very productive Caturday indeed :-)
